He is an expert in Mridangam. To Join for Engineering course he reaches Ernakulam. Here he is forced to undergo severe conditions of life. The film gives equal importance to love and action.

Prithviraj dons the role of Krishna Kumar. Priyamani dons the role of an engineering student named Anjana. Meera Nandan dons the role of a Brahmin girl named Sree Devi.
