Shyju Anthikkad who debuted with the movie Shakespeare M.A Malayalam with co-director Shaji is gearing up for his debut independent flick with Oru Black And White Kudumbam. This film has Jayasuriya and Kalabhavan Mani in the lead.

Scripted by theatre persona Pradeep Kumar Kaavungal, the movie narrates the story which revolves around the backdrop of tensions that gets created on misidentification due to the color of family members.
The movie has Kalabhavan Mani as Antony, who married the beautiful Lakshmi Thampuraatty (Vinaya Prasd), who hails from the prestigious Kovilakam. Adithya Varma, played by Jayasurya was much fairer in complexion than his father.

FROM M.A Malayalam to MBA

Adithya Varma and his family met with a financial crisis, when he was planning to fly to Australia, after completing M B A. So he joins Minnu’s business group, as a manager.

Adithya also brings in his Father Antony and mother Lekshmi in various jobs in the company, without letting others know that they are his parents. Minnu falls for Aadithya, but he can’t reveal that his parents are mere employees of her company. This crisis is what the movie is about.

Other characters are played by Janardhanan, Suraj Venjaaramoodu, Biju Kuttan, Lalu Alex and Anoop Chandran.

Jibu Jacob handles the cinematography while Alex Paul is in charge of the music section. Lyrics are written by Gireesh Puthencherry. Shooting has started months ago in Ottapaalam.

Bhama is the heroine Minnu, daughter of Ananda Varma from the famous Nellikal Tharavaadu.

The flick is produced by M. Mani under the banner of Sunitha Productions. Aroma movies will release this film.

Oru Black And White Kudumbam will hit theatres soon.
